1. Respect
Respect has been taught since you were old enough to talk, guys. It should not be forgotten now, nor will it be tolerated if it is. There IS a person behind the computer. No fighting in OOC, and if your characters don't like each other, it doesn't mean you don't, either.
This includes staff. We are just trying to help you, and without us, D&W would be chaos. Don't be afraid of us. Just remember everything we do is for a reason. If you find a staff member is out of hand, PM me (Bonbon). Staff members names will be displayed in a different color than regular members.
2. No abuse, sexism, racism, harassment, etc.
None of this is tolerated, and if any is seen, you will be punished. It is not needed in life, it is stupid, the end. We accept all colors, all nationalities, all sexual preferences, everything. You will NOT be rude to someone because they are black/white, gay/bi, male/female. The end.
3. Accounts
You can have one account, no matter how many characters you have. If you gain another account, I will delete that second account.
1. No power-playing or god-modding!
This is unacceptable on any RPG, and this is no different. If you PP or GM you will be warned, and if you continue after several warnings, you will be banned from D&W. No one likes a pushy person.
2. Grammar, punctuation, literacy, chat speak!
You must have correct spelling, punctuations, and grammar. It's not that hard, people. Honestly. Capitalize the first letter, use a comma and other grammar marks when needed, use periods. Spelling, it doesn't have to be perfect, but use a spell check.
As for literacy, we are a semi-literate RP site, and we do appreciate beginners. We are not like other RPGs, we do not have a minimum word count. However, your post should be at least five sentences long, one paragraph. I understand writer's block, but it can NOT be every single time you post. We'll warn you, and if it continues, I'll have to ban you.
3. Characters
Okay. Understand that I accept third person, and ONLY third person. First person is unacceptable.
And, NO ONE is perfect. Perfect characters aren't accepted. Please have one flaw, whether it be personality (even small anger issues are accepted!), physical (scars and deformities), or mental (disorders).
Also, you may have as many characters as you can handle, but you must keep them all active. If you aren't good at keeping them active, only have a few.
Liquid time is NOT allowed, unless you have been given explicit permission.
Due to an increase of characters that speak a language besides English; if your character speaks another language and is speaking that language in a post, please put in English what that character is speaking somewhere on your post. Meaning, include it in your post or under it.
4. Activity!
At least two posts per week. That's all we ask. If you're going away, post in the absence board. Simple.
5. Breeding and birthing
Now. Breeding and birthing is going to be a lengthy part. Seasons: Winter and Spring will be when wolves breed. Spring and Summer for dragons. As for birthing, I won't make you RP out the pregnancy. You can just have them if you'd like, or you can RP the pregnancy. Either is fine. Stats, such as what they look like, the litter size, etc, you must fill out the form and put it in a post in the breeding area. Then, a staff member will reply telling you the colors of the pups, how many there are, what they look like (eye color, size, etc), deformities, and stillborns. Graphic posts are fine, but make sure that the other RPer accepts that, and that there is an [X] in the title. Force-breeding is allowed as long as it's alright with the other RPer.
6. Fighting
Of course there will be fighting! With packs and some lairs, struggles for food and territory is a normal thing. Other reasons, as well. You will have to post in the correct board; there is one (as for if your fight is in an actual thread, post: "Fight: (link)"). Fights can be between any wolf/dragon, and for any reason.
7. Hierarchy
Wolves
Alpha: Two dominant dogs over the pack. They have a say in everything, they make the rules, they feed first, etc. They are partners, and others are submissive to them.
Beta: These is the pair that will take over the pack if the Alphas die. They are submissive only to Alphas, and other dogs in the pack are submissive to Betas, though not as much as the Alphas.
Adults: Adults in the pack are dominant to all juvenile pack dogs. Their dominance with each other is based on time and the circumstances.
Juveniles:
This is the younger group, who develop their own hierarchy with each other. Also changing over time and circumstances.
Omega: The lowest, not fully accepted by all pack members. They are the last to feed, if allowed at all. Everyone scorns them.
Dragons
CaveLead: Two dominant dragons over the lair. They have a say in everything, they make the rules, they feed first, etc. They are partners, and others are submissive to them. They get the largest caves.
Arret: This is the pair that will take over the pack if the CaveLeads die. They are submissive only to CaveLeads, and other dragons in the lair are submissive to Arrets, though not as much as the CaveLeads.
Adults: Adults in the pack are dominant to all juvenile pack dogs. Their dominance with each other is based on time and the circumstances.
Juveniles:
This is the younger group, who develop their own hierarchy with each other. Also changing over time and circumstances.
Scar: The lowest, not fully accepted by all pack members. They are the last to feed, if allowed at all. Everyone scorns them
8. Challenging for Packs
- can you challenge for a pack whenever you want?
Yes, but after a challenge has issued, another challenge on that pack can't be made for one RL week.
- if you challenge, and win, do BOTH alphas/caveleads have to step down?
Not unless the winner wants the other alpha/cavelead to step down.
- if you challenge, and win, can you rename the pack or lair/its ideals?
No. It may seem cruel, but the details of the pack are for reasons, and the names are already in all the advertisements we've posted.
- do you have to have pack ranks as Alpha, Arret, etc or can you come up with your own?
You can come up with your own, but there will always need to be Alphas/Caveleads, Betas/Arrets, etc.
9. Fighting
-The set amount of posts before being judged is 7 replies per person. It can be more or less, if the participants would like- just tell whoever's judging.
-Speaking of judging, a staff member will be the one to judge. PM one of us (admin) to let us know when a fight's about to begin.
